Wagon Wheel Nursery & Farmstand

927 Waltham St, Lexington, MA

Lexington’s Wagon Wheel Nursery & Farmstand was first founded as a landscape company in 1952 by Vito Cannalonga and Nicholas “Nick” Cannalonga, Sr. It moved to its current location on Waltham Street in 1958 and expanded to include a garden center and nursery. The original 1994 farmstand was updated to a post and beam structure in 2000.

Today, third-generation owners Nick Cannalonga Jr. and Larry Cannalonga operate this farmstand, nursery, and garden center which serves the greater Lexington community. Their deli counter — especially the Tuscan sandwich — has become a lunchtime staple, while the nursery and florist is a go-to destination for flowers and garden supplies. Wagon Wheel also operates a landscaping, mulch, and wholesale center for larger-scale projects.

In addition to sandwiches, the farmstand features produce from local farms, prepared foods, and baked goods, as well as decorative items like trees and wreaths for the Christmas season.
