Princeton’s Meetinghouse Cemetery

Mountain Road, Princeton, MA

The “Old Burying Ground” on Meeting-House Hill is the oldest cemetery in Princeton, located on the scenic Mountain Road. The graveyard and its high stone wall were voted into existence in 1773. While there are Revolutionary War Patriots interred at several of Princeton’s cemeteries, the largest number of veterans from the War for Independence are buried here at the Meetinghouse Cemetery.

Elisha Allen • Simeon Allen • Charles Brooks • Phineas Gregory • Samuel Hastings • Benjamin Holden • William Thompson • Samuel Woods
