Gove Farm

930 Mechanic Street, Leominster, MA

Located on Mechanic Street, just off Route 2 in Leominster, Gove Farm is in its seventh generation of family-run farming. The scenic orchards, greenhouses, and farmstand overlook Mount Wachusett and the Nashua River valley.

Gove Farm has been in production since the 1830s. Lisa and Paul Gove have run the farm since 1993. They plan to pass the reigns to their son, John, who — like his father — pursued a degree in horticulture to expand his knowledge of the family business.

The farm is uniquely positioned near two major highways. 20 acres of the farm were lost when Route 2 was built, and the farm shrunk further when Interstate 190 was completed. The farm still rests on 80 acres near the Leominster/Lancaster border. Roughly 50 of those acres are cultivated as farmland.

Visitors to the farmstand will find vegetables, flowers, apples, and of course: seasonal corn. Gove Farm grows everything they sell on-premises.
