The Creation of an Accessible Outdoor Space for Artistic & Educational Activities at the Hudson Armory

Hudson, MA

As part of their efforts to develop a master plan of the grounds surrounding the historic Hudson Armory, the Hudson Cultural Alliance created an accessible outdoor performance and seating space at the 1910 landmark. This new outdoor space will provide a community venue for artistic and educational activities along the Assabet River, including plein air painting, bird watching, dance, music, and art. With a focus on accessibility, it will also help eliminate barriers by providing visitors with better access to the outdoors and the many cultural and historical opportunities surrounding the Armory.
