Tools of the Time: 19th-Century Farm & Woodworking Tools

Step back in time for a carpentry demonstration of tools of the 19th century, including the tools of Amos Evans, a joiner who lived and worked in Bolton. On display are 19th-century farming and woodworking tools from the Bolton Historical Society’s collection.

 

This program is offered by Bolton Historical Society as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
