Located on the Hartwell Conservation Area, the Littleton Historical Society will showcase an exhibit highlighting the now extinct Hartwell Ski Area. Through the use of pictures, artifacts and first hand accounts, the history of the Hartwell Ski Area will displayed for all to see.
Historical exhibit will be on display from 10AM until noon. A guided walk and scavenger hunt for all ages that explores both the natural landscape and the wildlife will be provided by members of the Littleton Conservation Trust at 10:30. Because of the nature of the trail, please be aware that the trail may be muddy and/or puddley, so dress accordingly.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING: To get there find your way to Hartwell Avenue, off Hartwell Avenue, about six tenths of a mile from Route 2A (Ayer Road). The land is located on the East Side of the street, opposite utility pole number 71. For GPS directions enter Hartwell Family Memorial Preservation.
Parking is behind a green and white sign saying “Hartwell Family Memorial Preserve” Enter between two posts (old utility poles) and park in the grassed area.
