Bedford Depot Park Tour
05.16.26 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Rail history author William Deen will lead a two-hour tour of Bedford Depot Park. Preserved by the town are a depot and freight house dating from the 1870s and a passenger car built in the 1950s for the Boston & Maine. Displays include a detailed diorama that depicts the Bedford rail yard ca. 1955 plus period photos and art. The significance of the buildings and car will be explained as they relate to Bedford’s century as a terminal on the B&M’s Lexington Branch (1873–1977). About one mile of walking will be involved.
