SUMMARY:Parker's Revenge Immersive Battle Walk
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 19\, 2026\nMinute Man Visitor Center\n2:30-3:30 PM \nJoin us for an immersive battle walk at the site of Parker’s Revenge on April 19\, 1775. Participate in the experience as you walk the Battle Road and learn about the recent archaeological investigations that unlocked the stories of soldiers who fought and died across this battlefield. \nThis program will cover a loop of roughly 0.5 miles along the Battle Road Trail. At times it will include musket firing and require visitors to move briskly. Please bring water and sturdy walking shoes. \n\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n		 \n		\n			This event explores our region’s revolutionary past! Learn about Freedom’s Way 250 and discover the many ways the Heritage Area and its partners are commemorating and celebrating our nation’s semiquincentennial anniversary.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 19\, 2025\n12:45 PM\nViewing Areas around Minute Man Visitor Center in Lexington \nJoin us on Saturday\, April 19\, 2025 for the Parkers’ Revenge Tactical Demonstration. This signature event of the 250th Anniversary of April 19\, 1775 will include the largest and most historically accurate living history experience of Patriot Day Celebrations. Watch over 750 British Regulars and Colonial Militia demonstrate the running tactics of the battle that took place along this deadly stretch of road at the border of Concord and Lincoln 250 years later. Preceding the tactical demonstration living historians of the Ladies Association of Revolutionary America will portray the evacuation of civilians from their homes along the battle route. \nAfter the demonstration you will have the opportunity to get up close and talk with these amazing volunteers.
