The Nashua International Sculpture Symposium is an annual event in which visiting sculptors generate work in a community setting where the public can see the work in progress, interact, and ask questions. Sculptures created during the event are then donated to enliven the city’s public spaces such as schools, parks, neighborhoods, and walking paths. In an effort to enhance outreach and connection to young people, the 2023 symposium introduced special youth programming including education about sculpture, experiential workshops, and interactive meet-the-artist experiences.
