The Town Hall Renovation Committee in Mason, New Hampshire began phase one of its renovation process, which included addressing the building’s foundation and other improvements. The project will resolve fundamental structural concerns while preserving the 1848 town hall’s primary character-defining elements to the greatest extent possible. Given that the town hall is currently in use by the community, the renovation will ensure that the building will continue to serve present and future generations. The town is also seeking input to expand the usage of the town hall and bring public awareness to this historic community asset.
