These are also skills that when applied in a historical context, help us become better historians. In this discussion, we will analyze perspective, language, and bias in 18th century newspapers with a critical lens to learn how news was consumed in Colonial America with a focus on news after the Boston Tea Party.<\/p>\n<p><b>Presentation format:<\/b> Lecture (45 mins)\u00a0 and Q&amp;A (15 mins)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michele Gabrielson, M.Ed<br \/>\nThe Revolutionary Classroom<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Michele is a professional historian and public school educator with 17 years experience of teaching early American History.\u00a0 As a living historian and reenactor of the American Revolution, I offer any presentation to be delivered in historically accurate, hand sewn and documented 18th century clothing made by hand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suggested Program donation $10 per person<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Your donation\u00a0supports the preservation and maintenance of artifacts in the collection<\/em><br \/>\n<em>of the Westford Museum.
