Ten percent of the net sales proceeds from the store directly benefit Walden Pond State Reservation.<\/p>\n<p>Interpretive displays include a timeline history of <a href=\"https:\/\/freedomsway.org\/staging\/6553\/story\/henry-david-thoreau\/\">Henry David Thoreau<\/a>\u2019s years at <a href=\"https:\/\/freedomsway.org\/staging\/6553\/place\/walden-pond\/\">Walden Pond<\/a>, a topographic map of Walden Pond State Reservation, a living legacy exhibit showing Thoreau\u2019s influence worldwide, and several interactive exhibits designed for children.<\/p>\n<p>The Visitor Center is open daily, though hours vary seasonally. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
