It is our desire to provide as much support as possible to our partners through a collaborative, rather than competitive, process.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a variety of proposals, <strong>diverse in scale and scope<\/strong>, within the categories of:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Inclusive Storytelling ($1,000 \u2013 $3,500)<\/li>\n<li>Education, Interpretation &amp; Curation\u00a0 ($1,000 \u2013 $3,500)<\/li>\n<li>Community Planning &amp; Resource Conservation ($1,000 \u2013 $7,500)<\/li>\n<li>Historic Preservation ($1,000 \u2013 $7,500)<em><strong><\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Regional Cultural Events ($500 \u2013 $1,500)<\/li>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/freedomsway.org\/staging\/6553\/revolutionary-stories\/\">Revolutionary Stories<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>($1,000 \u2013 $5,000)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Applications will be accepted and awarded on a rolling basis <strong>beginning October 1st, 2023<\/strong> until obligated funds have been committed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>A final report with accompanying documentation (as detailed in the Final Report Guidelines), is to be submitted <strong>within eight (8) weeks following the anticipated project completion date<\/strong> put forth in the grant proposal, or by September 1st, 2024\u2014whichever comes first. While we hope this will eliminate the need for project extensions, we will consider a single extension request in extenuating circumstances. Requests must be made in writing and will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
