SUMMARY:Groton Greenway River Festival
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Nashua River at the Groton Greenway River Festival on June 9\, 2024! \nEnjoy nature displays\, live music\, great community\, and\, of course\, the always exciting action of the cardboard canoe race. The Festival runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm at the Petapawag Boat Launch on the banks of the Nashua River just off Nod Road in Groton\, MA. Free and fun for all ages! \nThe Nashua River Watershed Association will be there with their new hands-on science program “Watershed Nature Solutions Exploration” with 2 to 3 demonstrations from 12:30 to 2:30pm. Participants will explore the ways that we can work with Nature as a solution to climate change effects using our Enviroscape watershed model.
