We will be discussing the 10th anniversary edition of Leta’s widely acclaimed book\, Leftover Women – The Resurgence of Gender Inequality in China. This talk will be moderated by Melanie Lin\, President of the Chinese American Association of Lexington\, and Jessie Steigerwald\, President of LexSeeHer. \nMarch 21st | 7:00-8:00 PM | via Zoom only: Civics in Action: Margaret Coppe will share a history of the League of Women Voters of Lexington\, giving context for the work of monument honorees Ruth Morey and Marge Battin\, and will speak about her civic engagement!
