The parade route will cover a distance of 3.5 miles and follow a route through Concord Center, proceeding to the Old North Bridge for a brief ceremony commemorating the events and soldiers of April 19, 1775.  The entire event will last approximately three hours.

For 2024 we are introducing a parade concept to convey the parade’s purpose and to help shape its participants:

Recognition of the dedication and sacrifice of all those who fought for independence on April 19, 1775; the establishment of a new nation; and the progress we have made and continue to make to preserve, protect, and expand the foundational principles of self-determination, equality, and liberty for all people.
