Westminster’s Woodside Cemetery

Narrows Road, Westminster, MA

Narrows Road in Westminster, Massachusetts is home to the Woodside Cemetery, which dates back to 1742. It was officially turned over to the town of Westminster by Joseph Holden, Jr. in 1753. It remains the town’s oldest and largest cemetery, still accepting burials. At the heart of the cemetery, one of two zinc memorials honors the soldiers from Westminster who fought in the Revolutionary War. It was donated by Joseph Hager in 1905.
