The Minute Man

Minute Man National Historical Park

The commemorative landscape around North Bridge in Minute Man National Historical Park includes The Minute Man statue, which was dedicated during the centennial of the start of the American Revolution on April 19, 1875. The statue was the first commission of Daniel Chester French, a Concord, Massachusetts native who went on to sculpt more famous works, most notably the seated Lincoln statue at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
