The North Central Pathway is a partially completed, paved recreational trail that connects the historic downtowns of Gardner and Winchendon, Massachusetts. Three open sections currently offer just over eleven miles of paved, off-road trail.
The North Central Pathway is open from dawn to dusk for recreational use including walking, jogging, bicycling, rollerblading, skateboarding and cross country skiing in most areas. Some sections of the trails are plowed during the winter for walking. Motorized vehicles are prohibited. When finished, all sections of the sixteen-mile trail will be handicapped accessible.
