Nashoba Brook Wildlife Sanctuary

196 Concord Road (Route 225), Westford, MA

The fields and woodlands of Nashoba Brook are a favorite stop for migrating birds to rest and feed. The 420-acre site consists of various sanctuary parcels and the Town of Westford’s Richard Emmet Conservation Land. Three and a half miles of trails wind through a white pine-oak forest and wetland habitat. Northern red-backed salamanders can be seen along with fox, owls and hawks. In spring wood frogs and spotted salamanders inhabit the vernal pool.

Nashoba Brook Wildlife Sanctuary is owned and stewarded by Mass Audubon.
