Harpers Farm and Garden

Harpers Farm occupies nearly 100 acres along the Nashua River in Lancaster. It was founded by William Harper, who moved to Lancaster from Greenwich, Massachusetts in 1903. The farm, now under the leadership of David Harper, is celebrating its fifth generation as a family-run farm.

Harpers is locally famous for its corn — usually available in late summer — but they grow over 100 types of fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers and garden plantings. Produce is sold from the wooden farm stand on Main Street as well as several local farmers’ markets. All crops come from non-GMO seeds and are grown with sustainable and organic practices.

Visitors can purchase a CSA for summer fruits and vegetables, fall gourds, and even winter squash.
