Bloody Angle

Minute Man National Historical Park

Located along a bend in the road on the restored Battle Road Trail in Minute Man National Historical Park, this was one of the few wooded areas along Battle Road on April 19, 1775 and became the site of one of the bloodiest skirmishes of the day. Upon their return from Concord, several Minutemen hid here and waited for the British troops. Eight British soldiers were killed and several more wounded at what is now known as Bloody Angle.
