Founded in 1946 and formally incorporated in 1995, the First Parish Meeting House Preservation Society of Shirley (“The Shirley Meeting House”), is an all-volunteer, private, non-profit charitable organization that works to preserve the historic character and fabric of the historic Shirley Meeting House building in Shirley, Massachusetts.
They encourage the Meeting House’s continued use for cultural, social, and civic activities and rely solely upon grants and private donations to accomplish their goals to  preserve, restore, and maintain the building and promote it as a venue for the community’s enjoyment and use.
