Founded in 1953, the Sudbury Valley Trustees work to protect natural areas and farmland for wildlife and people in the 36 communities that surround the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Rivers. Three major areas to fulfill their mission including land conservation, stewardship, and providing opportunities to connect people to nature and to learn about the region’s open spaces and wildlife.

They conserve and care for over 5,000 acres of fields, forests, and farms; maintain more than 65 miles of hiking trails; help friends and neighbors connect with nature through our events, programs, and outings and assist local organizations in their efforts to protect the region’s most important natural areas.
