We welcome you to join us for the 2022 Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, a month-long celebration highlighting the people, places and stories that make the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area unique.
An opportunity to showcase the region’s “treasures,” the program is a collaborative endeavor designed to highlight the work of our partners from throughout the region. Collaboration is foundational to the mission of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area and Hidden Treasures provides an opportunity to support organizations that promote, protect, preserve, and interpret the natural, cultural, and historical resources of the 45 communities in the heritage area.
This year we are pleased to feature a mix of in-person and self-guided experiences that have been made more accessible than ever through our newly designed interactive website and mobile app. You can now create your personal Hidden Treasures itinerary and integrate it with other attractions in the region. It couldn’t be easier. And while you are at it, snap a few photos and send them our way!
It’s time to reemerge from the isolation of the past two years. Hidden Treasures offers a great opportunity to engage, explore and be inspired.
