Through short scenes acted out by costumed living history interpreters and narrators, “Woburn’s Road to Revolution” will tell the history of Woburn‘s Battle March Road and some of the stories of Woburn residents and events that took place in or were related to Woburn leading up to, on, or shortly after April 19, 1775, the day the American Revolutionary War began.
The program will run twice, from 3-4 PM and again from 4-5 PM in the Richardson Gallery at Woburn Public Library.
This program is offered by the Woburn Historical Commission, Woburn Historical Society, and Woburn Public Library as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
