On display at the Bolton Historical Society are examples of one Bolton resident’s decades-long hobby of model ship building, both scratch and kit built. From the ill-fated Titanic to the Jefferson Davis, an 1853 Baltimore Clipper, these models demonstrate the patience, skills, and eye for detail of the modeler, the late Deborah Kellett.
Open every Tuesday and Thursday in May from 1:00 to 3:30.
Special open hours on Saturday, May 18th from 10:00 to 1:00 and Sunday, May 19, from 1:00 to 5:00.
ACCESS: Entrance to building has two steps, no ramp.
This program is offered by the Bolton Historical Society as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
