Sudbury Girl Scout Ambassador Elizabeth Huettig has written an original story based on the history of The Wayside Inn and, working in conjunction with The Wayside Inn Foundation, has created the trail posts to hold the story year-round. The project will help Elizabeth obtain her Gold Award from the Girl Scouts. The story was written with ages 8-10 in mind, but it is sure to be enjoyed by any age reader. The cover artwork was created by LSRHS student Sebastian Janowitz.

Drop in between 2:00 to 4:00 on June 4th to meet Elizabeth and hear more about the creation of this project. The Storybook Trail begins on the path to the left of Longfellow’s Wayside Inn on the old Wayside Inn Roadway.
