Don Black, of the Old Burying Ground Commission, will talk about the graves in the Old Burying Ground related to the Revolutionary War. Accompanying the walk and talk will be a display of the Revolutionary War cannon that militia, including members from Groton, looted off of a British ship and used at the Battle of Bunker Hill. The cannon was restored by Earl Carter and sits atop a replica carriage Carter constructed with two-century-old wood left over from the construction of the USS Constitution.
