Help launch Rauscher Farm’s native pollinator meadow project! Meet Professor Robert Gegear, a recognized expert who conducts ongoing research into pollinator-plant interactions at his Gegear Lab at UMASS Dartmouth.
Come prepared to help install native plants in Rauscher Farm’s initial pollinator meadow site. Hear how orchestrated pollination systems increase diversity and support those pollinator species in decline, such as the bumble bees Bombus fervidus and Bombus vagans. Consider developing a plan to develop a supportive pollinator system in your yard or community.
