Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror: A Silent Film with Organist Peter Krasinski
10.28.26 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$10
A dark, isolated castle, terrified villagers, a creepy, devil-eared count, a slowly opening door, marks on a visitor’s throat—this is the silent film “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror,” showing at the Historical Society, 215 Still River Road, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. Playing the live, improvised accompaniment on the society’s restored Stevens pipe organ is Peter Krasinski, internationally acclaimed theater organist.
The organ’s dynamic range of tones and unique timbre will evoke a wide range of emotions and atmospheres. In conveying the presence of pure evil, Krasinski will produce volume that audience members will feel down to their toes.
Bring a cushion, a $10 donation, and someone to grab onto in the scariest parts.
