Visit Nashua, New Hampshire during the 2022 Nashua International Sculpture Symposium to observe three sculptors create their works of art, which will be installed in public places throughout the city, inspired by this year’s theme, “Merriment.” While here, explore the city and discover over 40 sculptures created during past symposiums.

Begun in 2008, Nashua is the only city in the US that hosts an annual international sculpture symposium. Artists are invited from around the world to spend three weeks in Nashua creating public art. Residents host the artists in their homes, bring meals as they work, provide transportation, and interact with the artists as they create.

The Opening will be held May 12 at 5:30 PM and Closing Ceremony will be June 4th.

This program is offered by the Nashua International Sculpture Symposium as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
