Munroe Center for the Arts is celebrating Mayday with song and dance and lots of art on Saturday, May 20th!
From 11 – 5pm ten MCA artists will be opening their studio doors for the public to visit, along with a dozen more community artists showing their work in the building. A new printmaking studio will also have demonstrations in the morning, alongside the schools in music and dance having their studios open to visit and chat with staff. From 3 – 5pm the Blues Dogs will be playing dance music in the back yard, and an artist will be leading visitors in a gelli printing art activity.

This program is offered by the Munroe Center for the Arts as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
