In preparation for the Lexington Fairy Homes and Gardens Tour, you’re invited to a rock and blues band concert in the back field at the Munroe Center for the Arts where families can participate in a fairy house-making workshop.
Fairy homes will be scattered across town during the weekend of May 28-29. Visitors will be able to see them in local parks and along public pathways. A map highlighting each stop on a self-guided walking tour will be available online at munroecenterorg/fairyhouses.
Special Instructions: Registration requested, visit munroecenterorg/fairyhouses. In the event of considerable rain, the band will be postponed. Anyone who has registered, or who visits our Facebook page will receive updates about a revised plan. The fairy homes will be installed on Friday, May 27th regardless of the weather.
This program is offered by the Munroe Center for the Arts as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area. Hidden Treasures programs are free and open to the public. Click to discover more Hidden Treasures!
