Lexington Bicentennial Band Concert

The Lexington Bicentennial Band Concert will be the culmination of the Patriot’s Day Celebration for the 250th Anniversary of the first battle of the American revolution in Lexington. It will feature music related to the time period of the revolution, including 2 works that have been commissioned by the Band: Seeds of Revolution by Daniel Lutz, originally commissioned for Lexington’s 300th anniversary, and the world premier of Dr. Andrew Boysen’s Symphony #11 – The Year 1775. In each case, the composers will be conducting the Band.

Tickets are free.

This event explores our region’s revolutionary past! Learn about Freedom’s Way 250 and discover the many ways the Heritage Area and its partners are commemorating and celebrating our nation’s semiquincentennial anniversary.
