Lancaster History Month: Lancaster Town Green Through the Ages

Have the buildings around Town Green always been the same? Which one was built first? What sort of things has the Green been used for over the years? Come celebrate Lancaster History Month with Special Collections Librarian Victoria Hatchell as she discusses the history of Town Green and the structures surrounding it.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

PARKING: Library patrons are encouraged to park in the large lot behind the building.

ACCESSIBILITY: Patrons are welcome to use the handicap parking spaces both in front of and behind the library. Each room of the building is ADA compliant; we have an elevator and automatic doors.

 

This program is offered by Thayer Memorial Library as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
