Come learn about vernal ponds and the wildlife that live in them! The Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team will present a short film, “Vernal Ponds,” which includes the definition of a vernal pool and lots of footage of Cape Ann wildlife. The team will explain the importance of these pools and how to protect them. After the film attendees will have a chance to look at some favorite vernal pool creatures. Great program for elementary school children on up.
