Join Emily Merlino, Stewardship Manager, for a guided hike at the newly-protected Monomonac Hill Conservation Area. This 194-acre conservation area rests at the southern reaches of Lake Monomonac in Winchendon, MA and is open to the public for passive recreation. Emily will lead hikers out-and-back on the Kinglet’s Caper trail to a scenic viewpoint and discuss the conservation value and impact of protecting Monomonac Hill.Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and outdoor conditions. Please come prepared with a bottle of water, sun protection, and bug spray.
