Celebrate Bedford’s fourth annual Indigenous Peoples Day with a collaborative community art project led by Mashpee Wampanoag artist Aimeé Ledwell.
Kids of all ages and their families will work together to create a large-scale mural of Turtle Island (North America) for display in Bedford Public Library. Ledwell will accompany her art instruction with Indigenous stories and knowledge about Turtle Island.
Stop by for a few minutes to add to our mural or spend the whole morning with us creating and learning together. This event is free and open to all.
Located on the field behind Town Center playground.
Co-sponsored by Indigenous Peoples Day Bedford and Bedford Youth and Family Services
