SUMMARY:Historical Piano Concerts 40th Fall Series
DESCRIPTION:The Historical Piano Concerts series is built on the Frederick Collection of Historical Grand Pianos by leading European makers\, about 1790 – 1928. The concerts’ 40th fall season includes a variety of programs: solo piano\, piano with voice\, and with violin and cello. Each concert showcases one restored original piano in the Frederick Collection\, in music closely related to that piano’s time and place. \nConcerts are held at the New Dawn Arts Center/Ashburnham Community Church\, 84 Main Street (Route 12) at the corner of Chapel Street\, Sundays at 3:00 PM. Admission is $20.00\, students and children\, free. \nRemaining Concerts in the 2025 Fall Series\nOctober 12: Solo piano concert: pianist Matthew Odell plays music by Johannes Brahms on a piano by Erard of Paris\, made 1860 \nOctober 19: Solo piano concert: pianist Thomas Pandolfi plays music by various composers on a piano by Erard of Paris\, made 1893
