Harvard in the Early 20th Century: A Living History

Stories of people, events and places around Harvard, Massachusetts in the early 20th Century will be told by townspeople who lived then. Some of the topics covered will be the apple industry, dairies, The Oak Ridge Observatory, The Campfire Girls and World War I. Attendees will be invited to interact with these early residents of Harvard.

PARKING & ACCESS: Parking will on the grass to the south of the Society’s meetinghouse. Members will be directing parking prior to the program. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

This program is offered by the Harvard Historical Society as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
