Located on the corner of Middle and Church Streets, in Amherst, New Hampshire, the Chapel Museum (also known as “The Annex”) was built by the Congregational Church in 1858 to hold their winter services in. Sold to the town in 1927, the Chapel has seen a variety of uses, including as classroom space for a growing student population.
Today the Chapel Museum is operated by the Historical Society of Amherst, New Hampshire and houses historical memorabilia relating to Amherst including maps, photos, scrapbooks, clothing and furniture.
