Did you know that Wachusett Mountain is home to the only old-growth forest east of the Berkshires? On this walk you will see ancient trees, many over 300 years old and some nearly 400 years old.

Meet at the Visitor Center. This program involves a walk of about 3 miles, some of it on steep trails. Appropriate for ages 10 and above. Wear appropriate footwear.
