We are going offsite today! We will meet at the District #1 Schoolhouse in Nashua for a tour, where we will explore the history of the one-room schoolhouse and the renewed interest in preservation. The tour will be led by Susan Fineman, local “schoolmarm” and coordinator of the District #1 Schoolhouse.
This program is offered by the Hollis Social Library as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area. Hidden Treasures programs are free and open to the public. Click to discover more Hidden Treasures!
