Small Farm

184 Gleasondale Rd, Stow, MA

Elena Coleman and Karl Goethert run this four-season vegetable, berry, and cut flower farm alongside a devoted team of full-time and seasonal employees. While the entirety of the farm spans 20 acres, four acres are devoted to crops and the remainder is stewarded as conservation land. The Town of Stow and the Stow Conservation Trust began maintaining a public trail around the property in 2018.

That kind of community support and interaction is what Small Farm is all about. Locals are invited to participate in the farm’s three-season CSA or visit the year-round roadside farm stand for produce, flower bouquets, hot sauce, salsas, kimchi, and more. In the spring, the farm’s plant sale has become locally famous. In summer, Small Farm can be found at the Hudson and Acton farmers’ markets.
