Mistletoe Christmas Tree Farm

149 Whitman St, Stow, MA

The iconic red barn at Mistletoe Christmas Tree Farm has welcomed winter visitors since 2009. While the farmhouse on the property dates back to the 1700s, the land first entered the ownership of the Frost/Priest family in the 1900s. Jonathan Priest became well-known around Stowe for his apple orchards, including the site on Birch Hill that is now Mistletoe Christmas Tree Farm.

In 2009, current owners Mark and Beth Harnett purchased the ten-acre farm from Ray Frost. They planted approximately 3,000 trees and learned the ropes of farming from watching YouTube videos. Today, they run the farm alongside their four children.

In addition to a festive holiday atmosphere including music, hot chocolate, and treats, the farm offers pre-cut Fraser firs, balsams, concolors, and blue spruce ranging up to 15 feet. Cut your own trees are available depending on supply. The farm also serves as a backdrop for professional photography sessions, so guests can arrange to take family photos.
