Amazing Flower Farm opened in 2006, although owners Ara Lynn and Paul Bush have been growing flowers and vegetables in New Ipswich for more than 20 years. In their first year, Lynn and Bush sold perennials from a push-cart stand at the end of the driveway. In 2009, they moved the operation into one of the greenhouses that they had been building since 2002.
A contest winner dubbed the farm “Amazing Flower Farm” for its brilliant blossoms. Lynn and Bush cultivate annuals, perennials, vegetable starters, fruit trees, and more. They pride themselves on using natural controls and growing methods, such as insects in place of chemical pesticides. The farm also sells gardening materials such as manure and composters.
