Reimbursable matching grants up to $5,000 available to non-profits and state and local governments within the 45 communities of the Heritage Area.
Applications accepted and awarded on a rolling basis beginning October 1st, 2022.
Funding a variety of projects, including:
- NEW! Inclusive Storytelling
- Education, Interpretation & Curation including Revolutionary Stories
- Community Planning for Resource Conservation
- Historic Preservation
- Special Events
Priorities include projects that:
- Research, interpret, and share underrepresented themes and stories
- Promote access and cultivate connections to the natural world
- Deepen a site’s connection to the community and region, and
- Reach new and/or underserved audiences.
