2023 Partnership Grant Application Opens October 1st!

Reimbursable matching grants up to $5,000 available to non-profits and state and local governments within the 45 communities of the Heritage Area.

Applications accepted and awarded on a rolling basis beginning October 1st, 2022.

Funding a variety of projects, including:

  • NEW! Inclusive Storytelling
  • Education, Interpretation & Curation including Revolutionary Stories
  • Community Planning for Resource Conservation
  • Historic Preservation
  • Special Events

Priorities include projects that:

  • Research, interpret, and share underrepresented themes and stories
  • Promote access and cultivate connections to the natural world
  • Deepen a site’s connection to the community and region, and
  • Reach new and/or underserved audiences.
