Paths of the Patriots

Brooks House
Grove Street
Rev. Edward Brooks house is where the returning Minute Men were served with food and chocolate, but no tea.  

Clark Marker
State Street
1770

John Clark was a bystander who was shot during a confrontation between British soldiers and Boston citizens.            

 

Hall House
43 High Street
1775

Paul Revere stopped here to warn Isaac Hall at 11:30 p.m. that the British were on the march to Concord. Benjamin Hall was the representative of Medford who had openly refused to pay taxes to the Royal Treasury.            

 

Old Burying Ground

Holds the graves of the soldiers who fought at Bunker Hill, including Captain Isaac Hall.            

 

Royall House
15 George Street
1697

Isaac Royall's house was suitable headquarters and several councils of war were held here during the siege of Boston.            

 

Sarah Bradlee Fulton House

Sarah Bradlee Fulton was a messenger and opened a field hospital.

 

Thompson Maxwell House
1764            

In Capt. Josiah Crosby's Company, Thompson participated at the Boston Tea Party and the Battle of Bunker Hill. His house was in Monson.
